Neweis, isa nga sa mga nahalungkat ko ang green book entitled “Green and Bear it” by Gary Lising. Itinabi ko at binasa nang matapos ko na ang paglilinis. Nakakatawa at mejo……..hmmm should I say puro green jokes ang laman ng nasabing libro (haha, nkalagay na nga kasi sa cover page eh).

Monday, February 9, 2009Pebrero na nman — buwan ng mga puso, so ang mga tao inlababo.
At nang mapanood ko ang commercial ni Dingdong Dantes para sa Goldilocks, nagkaron ako ng ideya na gawing subject ang mga acronyms na ginagamit ng mga taong inlab sa nxt post ko. Una atang umarangkada ang mga eto nong kausuhan pa ng slambook. hahah, Parang ang cool cool ng dating ng message mo dati pag may J.A.P.A.N. (Just Always Pray at Night) bago mo isulat ang pangalan mo. Kung uso na kaya ang text non, posible kayang mwah mwah at tsup tsup na lang ang nklagay instead of Japan??? (that’s a different story i guess, hehe).
Then the nxt time na naging famous na namn tong mga acronyms na eto ay sa isang pelikula ni Ai-Ai de las alas, Anne Curtis at Luis Manzano (Ang cute ng Ina mo). Naging punchline nina AiAi at ng asawa nyang foreigner sa movie ang ilan sa acronyms. At lately nga ay naging pamilyar na naman sa pandinig natin ang mga eto dahil sa nabanggit na commrecial ni DingDong D (para kaya kay Marian yang mga Acronyms na yan Dingdong?)

Feb 06, 2009 1:00pm — I am free!!!. At last, nakawala na rin ako sa mejo matagal tagal kong pagkakatali sa isang credit card company. Hanggang tenga ang ngiti ika nga habang inaabot ko sa kahera ang bayad. At nag-uumapaw ng “Horrah!” ang aking mga mata…..hahaha, kinda bit exagg!! Masasabi ko na kasi that I am totally out of the debt pit na minsan ay nakahulugan ko dahil sa maling paggamit ng credit card. hay sa wakas!
At ng
ayon ko rin napagtanto that I survived 2 years without using my credit card in my purchases. I am not saying that I have tons of money now (wish ko lang!) kya di ko na kelangan ng plastic money card. But I made a promise to myself sometime ago that I will save a certain percentage of my monthly salary. And one way to do that is avoid using credit card in my purchases and of course having a so-called DEBIT card. Isasabuhay ko na ang prinsipyo ng isang totoong LANGGAM, ang mag-impok at maghanda para sa darating na tag -ulan.
Just a friendly reminder : Use your credit card wisely.
By the way, pahingi nga ng application form ng HSBC or BPI Express Credit….bwahaha
